A close up view of the Marshalling Yard in its last days, showing shunting operations and the Control Office during September/October 1987. The yard was to officially close on 12 October 1987. My thanks go to Malcolm James (1st September 1987 clip) and BR Driver Chris Hopcroft (2nd October 1987) for permission to publish their footage. Commentary is by Malcolm James.
