1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E 6.0 AMG w124 the improved perfection

By the late 1980s, AMG was a well-known and very respected tuner of Mercedes-Benzes. Beginning in 1967, AMG had decades of experience making cars that were already of high quality even better. After 1990 AMG had the chance to take an already well-engineered car to the next level. That year, a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Porsche began the creation of the 500 E. Due to its limited numbers, hand-built construction, and unique pedigree, the 500 E is well regarded by devoted Mercedes-Benz fans. AMG would take this base car and improve it even further, culminating in the 500 E 6.0 AMG. Specified in a menacing Blauschwartz metallic (DB199) with a full black leather interior, this stunning 500 E 6.0 was delivered new with a number of options in addition to a very hefty purchase price, which would equal more than €100,000 today.
