I love the way The 1975 wear their 80's influences on their sleeves (the guitar tone here is pure INXS) but somehow come up with something totally original at the same time. Great guitar work on this track from guitarist Adam Hann and band leader Matty Healey who apparently came up with the main riff during a soundcheck.
The guitar solo has a lot of different studio post-effects on but you can get something similar with a Whammy (one octave up), a fuzz/overdrive and a tremolo or rotary pedal.
