Comparison between the regular SD9 and the Custom Shop SSD9.
The SSD9 is significantly louder, so I had to match the volume settings for going into a clean amp.
There will be another video with the SSD9's volume maxed out for boosting an already overdriven amp.
Amp is an original drip edge Fender Pro Reverb from '68 with Utah speakers.
Fender American Standard Stratocaster 40th Anniversary (1994) w/ Suhr V60LP pickups.
There is NO TREBLE BLEED circuit involved!
Boost is a Lehle Sunday Driver SW II (for last two chorusses).
Mics: Shure SM57, on axis, edge cone and an Austrian Audio OC18 LDC.
Delay: Soundtoys EchoBoy
Reverb: a bit of Valhalla Plate on top of the amp's spring reverb.
