THIS is a Great Sign For Speckled Trout!

South Louisiana had a historic snow storm a couple of weeks ago that plummeted our water temps to well below what our Speckled Trout, Redfish, and other species are used to. I went out to check on everything not really knowing what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised to find not only big numbers of Speckled Trout, but they were active and healthy looking. There have been reports of fish kills in certain parts of the state, so I was thankful to not see that in this area. Turned out to be a pretty epic day.

I fish artificial lures and mostly in the marshes and lakes on the east side of the Mississippi River in South Louisiana for Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Largemouth Bass.
