Lion dance is a 5,000-year-old traditional Asian art form that originated in China. To tell a story and bring good luck and fortune to the audience, performers dress up as lions and imitate their movements. Each lion is operated by two people, one person controls the head movements, while the other uses the tail to follow the other's footsteps.
