I learned this dance in early 1972 from David Skidmore. There are notes and video of the dance on Andrew Carnie's Folk Dance Musings site. The version of the basic that I learned (and teach here by my own method) is a bit fancier than the one in Andrew's notes/video so I thought I'd present it. I want to emphasize that both versions are perfectly good Bulgarian tropoli (stamping) figures.
