Touching desensitization with an Unhandled stallion using feeding time as a motivator

So in order to be able to start the whole process of halter braking, you first have to get the horse used to human touch and to not the human as a negative presence. it's about building trust, and it helps when you have the horse isolated in a round pen, and you can feed at least twice a day.
Using meal time as a way to just establish simple touch can help the process of establishing trust only take a few days as opposed to much longer.
This is the horse's owner, and it's important that she has a good relationship with him. So we will go over working on the first touch.

With young horses, you really don't want to do very long. No, more than 20 minutes at a time. Just because you don't want to stress them, but you have to leave on a good note.You may not be able to touch them the first day. and in this case, it took a few more days to get that trust to be able to halter him.
