The Glock COA series, a collaboration between Aimpoint and Glock, is apparently now discontinued. This combo had a special "A cut" slide mounting solution for the Glock 19, 45, 47, 48, and 43x. The COA dot optic was directly mounted to the slide, locked down by two screws, holding the rear iron sight.
The Glock 19 COA has reportedly been discontinued for the civilian market due to military contract demands. In this video, we discuss what this means for shooters, the Air Force’s recent suspension of the M18 Sig Sauer, and whether the Glock 19 COA military version could take its place.
*Note: I said the ACRO is smaller. I meant to say the window looks smaller because the COA appears taller due to its slimmer sides. The window size is the same. It just looks that way to me. The ACRO is a larger optic with the same-sized window, again making it seem like the window is smaller. That's the point I was trying to make. ~Grumpy.
This was a great EDC solution, but here today, gone today!
