STALEMATE - Death Note Cosplay Music Video

Hello my CosplayFam! 🥰

I'm super excited to share with you a very special piece of video this time. It's my first time producing a CMV from the scratch, with mostly my equipment and in general on my own when it comes to edit the video. A BIG STEP, big step it is. 😵

The idea was pretty simple as we just planned to have a nice Death Note shooting with Purin and Dorian during last summer aaaaand I just offered them to 'maybe let's make a smol cute video in meantime the shots?'. And yeah. Then a "Death Note: The Musical" rocked my world and I knew I had to use one of the songs to portray it in a CMV.

You can imagine how this CMV just overtook the shoot in general lolol. XD

I feel guilty as hell as it was SUPER demanding from my actors to be a cameraman for me once I've been in front of camera as L. Also it was not comfortable at all to record all of it in a costume - I even had to take my wig off often to not die from heat... We worked on a set starting 7:30 AM and finishing it all around 4:00 AM on the next day.😅

Of course it's not a perfect video. So many editing mistakes, some of the shots had to be taken from bloopers as I've missed a few shots of myself as I was so busy about thinking about getting the other ones. But this project gave me so much in terms of handling a production, lighting, props, logistics and post production that I'M SURE then next one will be much, much better.
