A video showing the difference in how enemies react to being shot in Resident Evil 4 and the Remake. Notice the consistency of how enemies respond in the original and how enemies bump into each other causing a chain reaction. This is not a display of skill, only how enemies react or don't to being hit and how that changes how aggressive you can be.
Original is on normal, Remake is on professional. A fair comparison because the original doesn't change hit reactions on higher difficulties. For me this element being downgraded is the Remake's biggest flaw, it makes the guns less fun and combat feel random and weightless.
