And so, the birding mission begins. Markus and I have arrived in India for our six-month birding adventure. It’s been a semi-soft landing as we acclimate to the timezone, the heat, and the rhythm of local life.
So far, India has exceeded all expectations. We’ve had some fantastic birding right outside our doorstep. The grasslands around Carmona and Cavelossim provide excellent habitat for a wide variety of species, including bee-eaters, birds of prey, and waterbirds.
