After I heard the sad news about Alan White's passing, I was approached by the family to contribute a video to the tribute concert that was being held in his honour in Seattle. I put together this video using archive photos from my personal collection or photos provided to me.
I think if I’d realised just how much of the rich history of rock music Alan had been involved in I would have been in permanent awe but due to his calm and easy going nature, he never made you feel anything other than at ease.
I hope the video encourages you to dig out a record he played on and enjoy the musical gift he gave us.
