I don't sell or have an affiliation with this wheelchair... I just think it's really cool.
But rather than hear me do a 3rd video about it, I wanted to introduce you to Jane, who I saw trialling this at #OSS2025 this year.
High level summary: It's a lightweight chair that has power assisted castors which is awesome because:
Chair + PAD is less than most chairs out there
Has uphill assistance AND downhill braking
Does well on unpaved surfaces
Easy to use
Subtle
I like it. The chair itself may not be suitable for every user but the concept of the powered castors is a game changer in my eyes.
