At the 2025 APP Great Lakes Open, the men’s singles final came down to two first-time finalists, Ammar Wazir and Dusty Boyer. Wazir controlled the game 15-8. Trailing 16-15, Wazir closed with three straight points to win 18-16 and take home his first APP Tour gold.
