Forgotten Coast (Farm Demo) - Ben Black
I started writing this song while I was staring and smiling at this beautiful girl on a cold beach day about a year ago. A few months later that same beautiful girl helped me finish writing this song while I was laid up in a hospital room with a whole bunch of questions hanging around.
Not too long after they figured out what was going on and let me out of that hospital, we sat down in the living room and recorded this demo. Since then it’s been sitting in a folder on my phone, waiting for warmer months so we could re-record a “finished” version and release it.
While right now is some of the coldest months in Florida, and we're getting ready to go back to that same hospital for more treatment, I’m just wishing I was staring and smiling at her on that beach all over again. So here’s a home demo version of it to get us through the next couple months until we can go do it again.
