And I’m learning everything as I go.
This video is the start of a new series documenting the process of fixing and converting Bertie the Big White Van into a functional camper — a basecamp for travel, movement, and rebuilding life one project at a time.
The last year of my life was rough. A lot ended, a lot went wrong, and I realised I needed something tangible to move forwards with. This van isn’t about escaping — it’s about creating space to explore, reset, and keep going.
This series isn’t a tutorial.
I’m not a mechanic or a professional converter.
I’ll be showing what works, what doesn’t, and what I get wrong — honestly.
