British born migrant children fight to survive poverty

Four and a half million children - or one in three - officially live in poverty in the UK. Although the Government has pledged to tackle it - some of the most vulnerable young people could be left without any financial safety net at all.

These are children who were born in Britain, to migrant parents with a legal right to work here. Yet they have visas saying they have ‘no recourse to public funds' - with no access to universal credit, income support, social housing or even child benefit. We've been filming with some of the young people affected over the last two years.
