George and I went over to visit John at his home. I hadn’t even noticed George packed his guitar in the car. While their wives, Cynthia and Patti were talking about curtains in the other room, John and George grabbed their guitars and started riffing. They weren’t playing for me or doing a performance. They were just experimenting with ideas. Little Julian was wondering around watching and listening.
