River Kent tidal bore at Arnside & Sandside Dec 2016

Filmed from Arnside, on the mud bank by the left side of the pier (had to keep moving my feet as I started sinking!), then from the road side at Sandside. There was little wind and the river Kent was a bit swollen. The bore arrived about 10 minutes earlier than predicted. Every time I visit Arnside to see the bore, the channels have shifted and the bore puts on a new show. The bore is just as entertaining viewed from Sandside, where there is usually a group of fishermen waiting for the tide to come in.
