Your 6:30 a.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for November 28, 2024:
Temperatures drop into the 30s tonight, which will facilitate a change to mix and wet snow. This could mean minor slushy snow sticking to grassy areas and elevated surfaces, especially away from the lakeshore.
Messy travel conditions tonight and into the pre-dawn hours of Thanksgiving. Plan on needing extra time. If you can hold off until 9 am or later, roads should be much better and there will only be stray rain showers left. Stray showers will be all we manage for the rest of the day with highs trying for the low 40s.
Colder air arrives Thursday night into Friday and the will set off the Lake Effect Snow Machine. Winter Watches will go into effect Thursday night for Lake and Ashtabula counties.
