Solo Cataclysm on Arc Warlock - Root of Nightmares - 1st Encounter [Destiny 2] [Episode: Heresy]

Completion of the 1st encounter, Cataclysm, in Root of Nightmares raid on my Warlock main with Arc subclass. This was another fun one to do and kinda decided to do this out of the blue.

Please bear in mind that I've never solo'd a single encounter in any of the raids before, so this is a first for me. I'm also not a Speedrunner, not by a long shot, but I got into Lowman raiding back in December for the first time and am quite enjoying it. This wasn't a pretty run by any stretch, but I cleared it and that's what matters.

I have Duo'd RoN, albeit not flawless, and it gave me the itch to potentially go for the Solo all the way through. So today I decided to start that journey. Not sure how long it will take to learn, especially Planets and Nez (more concerned about Planets), but I plan to chip away at this when I have the time.

Cataclysm is just all about being fast, knowing what locations seeds can spawn in next, being able to get both psions for Tormentor while doing seeds, and then most importantly bait the Tormentor toward the start of the next section and once it starts, dispatch him quickly to get max time. Being that Geo Mags are OP atm, I decided to pop shoulders with Forerunner and just dispatch with Chaos. Forbearance and Sentry Turret/Arc abilities were used to regain Super for the next Chaos. I expect Scission will be quite easier than Cataclysm. I quickly realized I actually didn't fully know seed spawns well, especially int he 3rd zone. I could've used my Eager a bit more watching it back, but Speedrunner + melees worked fine.

I'll chip away at Scission in the coming weeks, don't think it'll be difficult to clear, just been playing a bit less recently after Contest & Solo Flawless Sundered and now this. Don't wanna burn out.
