Professor Ruby Lee describes the development of built-in smartphone hardware to rapidly detect when a thief tries to use a stolen cell phone to access data and online information. This technology was presented at Celebrate Princeton Innovation 2021, the University's annual showcase of research with the potential to benefit society. The research, conducted with graduate student Guangyuan Hu, is funded by the National Science Foundation and Semiconductor Research Corporation.
