One of the best walking tours in Cologne starts at the Hyatt Regency with the best panoramic views of the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) and the old town. Walk along the new promenade, have a break at the stairs and enjoy the sun and panorama. Then walk over the Deutzer bridge and directly into the old town and stroll along the river Rhine and the Promenade where the boat tours start. This walking tour ends in front of the Hohenzollern bridge.
From here you can also go accross the Hohenzollern bridge and end your walk at the Hyatt again. This is also a perfect jogging track for the morning or evening.
