107. JACK PLANE. Z. Phillips Patent. Very rare example of the cutter adjustment mechanism patented 5/10/70 by Zechaniah Phillips of Dixon, IL. PTAMPIA I, Figure 151. 16" long, crack in the body behind the throat but otherwise very clean. Has "Pat'd 1870" cast into throat piece, what looks like some initials stamped near toe. Rated R1, fewer than five examples expected, by Blanchard & Larson. Good+ 3000 - 6000
