Capillary wick irrigation is one of the lesser known water efficient irrigation methods. This is the fifth year I've been using this type of setup. A full discussion of the process is in the book Gardening with Less Water by David A. Bainbridge.
In this video I transplant a bell pepper seedling and set up capillary wick irrigation using a 2 liter soda bottle, cotton/nylon clothesline, and flexible tubing.
