Now the eve of night approaches and the light is growing dim
In swift departure the life is leaving and the songbirds tone is grim
The dull cadence growing deeper, reverberate
I’m beyond the morning

We became the facets we displayed
I defined myself with by who I was told to be
Echoing the sounds I heard, not knowing the weight the words would have
