In this video I show what a traditional LCD TV looks like compared to a new Mini LED TV using over 1000 local dimming zones. The effect is by disabling zones on the screen you can reach near OLED levels of contrast depending on the scene. Meanwhile regular LCD without Full Array Local dimming Mini LED backlights looks completely washed out and grey.
