Honestly, I don't think I have ever been as soggy as I was this weekend... Not only did it rain pretty heavily for most of the weekend, but we also had some fairly strong winds to go with it. The rain was pretty much falling horizontally towards us and with winds that made umbrellas worthy of the bin within seconds, I have no idea how I've come away with a camera that still works.
Anyway, the racing itself was sketchy to say the least; anyone that came out on track this weekend really must be very brave because keeping it on the black stuff looked nearly impossible... Despite being very slippery, the racing was still very close and competitive which is always a plus!
Congratulations to Josh Smith for winning this years BRSCC Formula Ford Festival; now its time for everyone to dry off their FF1600s ready for the Walter Hayes in just two weeks time!
