Scenic Raft Trip in the Grand Teton National Park at Jackson Hole Wyoming. When I think of Jackson Hole, I think of Wide Open aggressive exciting outdoor adventures. When I heard about the float rafting on the mighty Snake River, and I was told it was a gentle raft ride - not white water rafting. Not too exciting. But I'm really glad I went. Yeah, it wasn’t full on over the top like I want but the guide gave us a tremendous history of the mountains and the area itself and the mountain men that lived a hundred years ago in this rugged landscape. The river was the boss. The river was very impressive with a lot of water flow and you could tell there had been flood water recently with trees washed up on the shore. It was interesting to think about the people who used the river to travel, to hunt or move their camp from one place to another. The Snake River encompasses 5 states in the US and is the 9th longest river in the US. This is just another segment showcasing our adventures in Wyoming.
