That's Not My Name/Thunder - The Ting Tings/Imagine Dragons (mashup)

This one's probably the hardest mashup I've done so far!

For this one, I take the instrumental of 'That's Not My Name' and the vocals of 'Thunder'.

This definitely took a lot longer than I had initially anticipated because of how many times I had to splice the vocals in the final chorus particularly because it repeats so many times! I also decided to re-introduce the original vocals from That's Not My Name from the second chorus onwards, which probably might've been a little too chaotic, but it also kinda works well! I also bring in that guitar solo from Thunder near the end as well, which I luckily managed to find as a stem somewhere on YouTube. But everything before the final chorus isn't too difficult at all!

The songs go well together because they both use a I - IV progression in a major key throughout the song, and they share the same harmonic rhythm in the choruses. I, of course, had to transpose Thunder to be in E Major instead of C Major, and I also had to slow it down just a little bit, but they do fit well together, even if it does take a little more work this time around. I suppose this time, I can definitely see why no-one else has really attempted it before me as it is a little more difficult to execute, but I managed!
