The Santa Fe Trail started near Kansas City and quickly spread south and west. This historic route helped the U.S. expand and explore western territories and states. From 1821–1872, pioneers and traders made the grueling and dangerous 900-mile, two-month trek on this “super highway” by horse-drawn wagon. Join us and reflect on some of our country’s rich history!
