In this video, we create a one-of-a-kind outdoor sink using a massive, naturally burnt tree root — aged over hundreds of years.
After finding the root deep in the countryside, we brought it back and began the transformation. Using a handheld chainsaw, we carefully removed damaged areas and carved a deep basin into the wood. Then, we used sanders and hand tools to smooth the surface while preserving the beautiful, charred outer texture of the driftwood.
The result is a rustic yet elegant natural sink, perfect for outdoor spaces like eco-resorts, homestays, and tropical retreats.
It retains the wild spirit of the forest while offering functionality and art in one form.
