Before we dive in I want to thank Glow Rhino who sent this out to the channel to review. Glow Rhino is based in Detroit and they are a relatively new brand but the founders have been in the firearms and defense industries, and specifically working with tritium for almost 30 years. They also sent over a Tritium titanium key fob which I have a video on as well and if you want to check that out there’s a link in the description below.

Allright so let’s dive in and take a look at this prybar. The body is CNC machined out of titanium and it has an extra large rectangular tritium insert embedded on top which we’ll jump back to in a little bit. Its really lightweight and weighs just 0.73 ounces or 20.8 grams and its just under 3 inches long. In addition to the pry bar it also can be used as a bottle opener, flathead screwdriver, a scoring tool and there’s also a small loop on the end which you can use to attach this to a keychain. Its also sharp enough to open up boxes with ease and you can even take it with you on an airplane.

Tritium is something I’ve seen before but I’ve never actually had my hands on so I’m excited to see what all the hype is about. Tritium is a radioactive isotope of Hydrogen and when tritium gas is encapsulated in Borosilicate glass vials with phosphorescent pigments, a self-luminous (glow in the dark) device is created. It doesn't require any additional energy like sunlight to glow, it just needs to be in the dark for you to see it. I’m not sure exactly how long Glow Rhinos tritium lasts but from what I've read most tritium products glow for about 10 years from the moment the vial is filled. Tritium can be seen from about 30ft away and it constantly glows so you can always rely on it to find items like your keys in the dark.

Overall this is a pretty cool little prybar. The titanium construction makes this pry bear really rugged and its tough enough to handle whatever you can throw at it and lightweight enough to not be noticed in your pocket or on your keychain and its really great for opening boxes as well. The tritium is a really nice touch and it will definitely stand out in your everyday carry.
