Prerequisites and Location Tips

Hazards: The fog resets you if you stray—follow the straight path using a lit torch or flaming arrow. Enemies are minimal (Deknites, Stalfos at night).
Why Go?: Korok Forest has 20+ Korok Seeds, the Master Sword pedestal (requires 13 hearts), Hestu, and shops. Keo Ruug is your fast-travel point.
Navigating the Lost Woods
Entrance: At the wooden gate (marked by torches), light a torch (hold R for wood, shoot with fire arrow) or equip a wooden weapon (it'll ignite).
Straight Path Rule: Walk straight forward through the fog—veer left/right and you'll loop back (fog sound cue warns you).
Key Landmarks:

After ~2-3 minutes, you'll hear Korok laughter and see glowing lights—the exit to Korok Forest.
Tip: If lost, drop the torch and follow the "Shrine Nearby" sensor (beeps when close to Keo Ruug). Enter during daytime to avoid Stal enemies.
Exploring Korok Forest
Once inside, you're in a sunny glade with the massive Great Deku Tree at the center. Key spots:
Hestu: The big Korok near the entrance—trade Korok Seeds for inventory slots (weapons, bows, shields). He needs 3 seeds for the first upgrade, up to 23 total per stash.
Master Sword: In the pedestal before the Deku Tree (pull it with 13+ hearts; trial every 10 real minutes if underpowered).
Shops: Oaki sells arrows; Walton has rest beds and food.
Korok Trials: Speak to Chio (south path) for three outdoor challenges:
Test of Wood (Damia, northeast): Chase a Korok through the woods.
