Today I sight in and test the accuracy / precision of a Savage B Series in 22 magnum (22 wmr). Having replaced the scope with a Vortex diamondback, I first sight in the rifle before testing for precision. Using 30, 40 and 50 grain ammunition made by CCI, Hornady, Federal, Remington, Norma and Winchester, I check to see which groups best at 75 yards. Note that the rifle is almost in original condition other than having been placed in a Boyds stock.
