Key West Sunset Sail - America 2.0 Schooner

We begin this episode with me transiting the golf cart I acquired while in Key West back to Milwaukee. When I return, our Son Jeffrey, whom had just ended his contract with the Marines (USMC), rode with me. As we have said before, it takes a visitor to make you go and see things, LOL. To show Jeff around, we utilized the Conch Train Tour. An entertaining and efficient way to see the island. You may even learn some new fun facts. His visit was short, so the next day we took a sunset cruise on the America 2.0 Schooner. This was an amazing adventure which we will definitely do again. I was concerned after watching the other sunset cruise boats mill about in the harbor as they serve drinks and sunsets to their riders. However, the America actually goes under full sail power and sails out to the Florida Reef. Dolphins and sharks can be seen as well as a completely unobstructed sunset. While cruising, they offer to allow passengers to take the helm. Of course we took them up on that one. The crew becomes your waitstaff and delivers appetizer plates that are very good.
