what spring is teaching me 🌼 an afternoon at the lake

Happy Friday, spring fairies 🧚‍♂️

Spring continues to unfold here at my little cabin in the woods. The bleeding hearts, wild violets, trillium & wild lily of the valley have bursted into bloom over the past couple of weeks & the ferns begin to unfurl & the alders are taking their time to slowly bloom into their lushes green bodies. As I get to bear witness to the changing seasons it reminds me that everything grows & blooms in its own time. There is no rush in nature, there is no hurried state of being… everything is confident in what they are meant to become & leans into the time it will take to get there. So to we do not have to rush through this life, we do not have to be in a constant state of hurry. We are growing & we will bloom when we are meant to. And we will bloom & bloom again as too the seasons & cycles of nature teach us that we inevitably will go through seasons of rest, of bareness as well as boisterous life. So as you watch Spring unfold this year - remember that you too will bloom in your own time & there is so much beauty & growth to be experienced here in the present moment, wherever you are on your timeline. Just like the wildflowers - you are not late, you are not behind, you are right where you are meant to be.
