On the BNSF H-TEANYF (manifest from Teague, TX to North Yard in Fort Worth, TX) NS 4004 was leading solo. I decided to set up at Purina Junction along the Union Pacific Duncan Sub with the old dog food plant as a backdrop. This little stretch of track is seldom used by through trains as the main UP route is just West of this location. However, this train was coming off the TRE subdivision (former Rock Island) and turned onto the Duncan to head North up to BNSF trackage. The horn sequence was a bit short for the crossing, but I was still glad to hear the K5LA with the alternating ditch lights. NS 4004 is one of the first units to be rebuilt as an AC44C6M (2016 at NS Juniata shops from a C40-9) and thus sports a special paint scheme. Now these types of units are a dime a dozen on NS and UP. During the video, Texrail was seen at its crossing just up the road. This was at 5:55 PM on 9-17-25 in Fort Worth, Texas. Thanks for watching!
