Here are some scriptures that will help you as a new believer in Christ:
Romans 10:9 KJV - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Acts 2:21 KJV - "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
1 John 1:9 KJV - "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
James 2:26 KJV: “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”
John 14:15 KJV: If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
If you confess your sins with your mouth to the Lord, then He will forgive you of your sins. You DO need to repent though; meaning to change your mind. Change your mind on all sin, and trust only in Jesus, and you will be on your way to Heaven. God bless you!
