HTMA: How to Collect Your Hair Sample

This video contains step-by-step instructions on how to collect your hair sample for the Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) and send it in to the lab. Instructions also come with the HTMA kit, so make sure to read those too before collecting the hair sample!

Important to remember:
1. Make sure you fill out part 2 of the order form and include this form in the envelope along with your sample.
2. Only use the 1.5 inches of hair closest to the root (scalp).
3. Make sure you have enough hair to fully tip the paper scale.
4. Make sure the name you put on the HTMA sample matches the name on your order from us. If not, if you are doing the HTMA for someone else or using a different name, please contact us so we can add the correct name to the order notes so we know who to send the results to to avoid any delays. 608-242-0200.
5. Don't forget to put a stamp on the envelope before mailing!
