Born John Devon Roland Pertwee on July 7th 1919 in Chelsea, London was a pure all-rounder. Actor, comic, presenter and cabaret performer. Most famous for being the third Dr Who it is hard for people to remember him as a comic. This minute clip is enough to realise how versatile of a performer he truly was.
He died in Sherman, Connecticut May 20th 1996.
