Notice he soldered all his seams. This was so amazing, as it’s rare that flashing guys actually solder instead of just using caulking; so rare, I thought I’d share his correct methods with our audience.

Notice how James’s stair flashing should be installed where the stairs meet the stucco walls.

If you are going to have tile set on steps, this is a must-do.
The waterproof membrane can now be done.
Then a mesh wire was used before the application of the thin-set.

Of course, you can also do concrete once the membrane is laid out first.
Remember, after the membrane is applied (usually a peel and stick), a person would now be ready for concrete or tile work.
