Side two of Cook LP 10271: "Fiesta Flamenca -- Carlos Montoya and his Spanish dancers in motion; Nino de Alamaden sings flamenco in the old form". Alegrias, rondena, solearas, fandangos. The second piece, a rondena, is classified by the liner notes writer as:"'Cante de Levante'... Song of the East. Played in a Gypsy tone scale different from the one conventionally used for most Spanish music. Its origins are lost in the Gypsy migrations, and though far less known than popular flamenco... it is the 'real flamenco'."
