Gokarna - Hidden Paradise of India 😍

Gokarna is a small temple town located in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka state in southern India, It has a population of around 20,000. Shiva is the most worshipped deity in the town. Gokarna's main temple, Mahabaleshwara, is dedicated to Shiva. The temple houses what is believed by some to be the earliest Shiva lingam (Atmalinga).

This time I have planned my Gokarna trip with Karnataka Hikes.

Day 1-1: Departure at 9:00 pm Friday from Bangalore.
Pickup – HSR layout as I am staying near Marathalli.
7 hrs of Bus Journey which inculdes break for snacks and later reached in the morning at 8:00 am

Day 1: Itinerary
Freshen up on our base location which is one of the scenic place that you all guys craved for.
Location 1: Mirjan Fort
The Mirjan Fort is located on the west coast of the Uttara Kannada district in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. The fort known for its architectural elegance was the location of several battles in the past.

Location 2: Speed Boating to Dolphin Point
Dolphin Spotting Locations:
• Paradise Beach: Considered a good spot for dolphin watching, where you can take a boat trip to the middle of the sea to see dolphins.
• Om Beach: Offers scenic dolphin-spotting boat rides and guided tours to spot humpback dolphins and other marine life.
Half Moon Beach:
Spent 2-3 hrs for various beach sports activities which includes boating, Jumping, snokerling , beach ball , kayaking and many more.

Way to Sunset view – Small treks leads you to the best sunrise point and a perfect glance of OHM beach as well, this place is perfect for those who like to enjoy peace with a scenic view.

Back to the beach where campstay has besen arranged Infront of beach, dinner has been provided followed by campfire and lighting sky laterns.
Spending time on the beach with gazing stars is a perfect night spent with peace and serenity.
This is all about day 1, this night has stayed long for me because I truly lived every moments and deep talks with friends who was just strangers in the beginning.
