In 2016 and 2017 before her name was tarnished Tessa Blanchard was on the verge of earning a WWE contract. She worked some matches on NXT where she displayed charisma. She then entered the Mae Young Classic a women’s tournament designed to find the next star. Whilst most of the ladies ended up getting signed, Tessa was one of the unfortunate few who did not. Allegations of a difficult attitude backstage lead to her signing with TNA instead. After a few years the racism allegations came out that she spat on and racially abused La Rosa Negra. She never ended up wrestling another match for WWE despite her superior wrestling skills. It’s Ring of the Hawk season six.
