If you want to make money from your content, you need to treat it like any other business. Building your brand means learning how to find your target audience online and figuring out how to reach them. Who is your target market? Be specific about who you want to communicate with. Research their interests and their habits. Find out who they’re listening to – who the influencers are in this niche.

Now that you’ve begun your market research, you’ve taken the first step towards learning how to promote a podcast. Once you know who your target audience is, work towards discovering where they hang out.
