Stevenson Falls is a completely paved waterfall hike.
The trailhead is one hour from Fresno, just past Mono Wind Casino. You will drive on a single-lane mountain road the last 10 miles there.
It is a 7-mile out-and-back trail (3.5 miles to the falls, 3.5 the same way back). The entire trail is a paved fire road, so it’s super easy to follow with 700 feet of elevation gain and minimal shade.
In the spring you’ll see tons of wildflowers and lots of mini waterfalls on the way there- we counted seven! There are even two caverns to walk around if you can find them.
There are no facilities so come prepared and, as always, pack out what you pack in.
