In August, 2025, MISA Zambia, trained 20 Journalists in Solutions Journalism model that enhances community participation in providing solutions in the agriculture and health sectors.
The training aimed to enhance the capacity of journalists to produce solution-oriented stories in the agriculture and health sectors by equipping journalists with practical skills in Solutions Journalism.
MISA supported the Journalists to document and amplify impactful community-led initiatives and responses to challenges.
The initiative was conducted under the Enhancing Citizens’ Voices and Participation in Governance Processes Project, which seeks to enhance rights holders’ participation in democratic processes through capacity strengthening and the creation of engagement platforms between duty bearers and rights holders in the health and agriculture sectors, using inclusive communication platforms.
The project is supported by Action Aid Zambia with funding from the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA)
