Studio Batsumi is the project of Federico and Marta, an Italian duo united by their passion for music and DJing. Their journey began four years ago in a record shop in East London, where a shared love for music sparked a creative collaboration.

Over the following years, Federico, a multifaceted music producer and drummer, spent much of his time in the studio writing new music, which led the duo to launch Studio Batsumi as their own record label.

In May 2024, they released their first record, Cosmicomics, a five-track EP featuring four original tracks and a remix by Jonny Rock. Their second release, YaHuRa, is set to be released in summer 2025, a four-track EP shifting between breaks, tribal house, downtempo, and ambient sounds.

Studio Batsumiは、音楽とDJへの情熱でつながったイタリア出身のデュオ。メンバーであるフェデリコとマルタの出会いは4年前、ロンドン東部のレコードショップ。音楽に対する共通思いが、創造的なコラボレーションのきっかけとなった。

その後の数年間、ドラマーとしても活動するマルチな音楽プロデューサーのフェデリコは、スタジオにこもり楽曲制作に没頭。やがてふたりは、自身のレーベルとしてStudio Batsumiを創立。
2024年5月には、記念すべきファーストリリースとして『Cosmicomics』を発表。（4曲のオリジナルトラックとJonny Rockによるリミックスを収録した5曲からなるEP）

続くセカンドリリース『YaHuRa』は、2025年夏に発表予定。ブレイクス、トライバル・ハウス、ダウンテンポ、アンビエントといったサウンドを行き来する、全4曲を収めたEPとなっている。
